my grandad jst passed away.

all of us cried all night.
but still managed to catch some sleep.

thursday.
early in tha morning. daddy fetched us
to ahgong house to take a last glance at him.
i duno why but i wasnt afraid.
i asked mama if i could touch him.
she said YES.
he was so cold. so so cold. its scary.
my relatives.uncles.aunties and cousins
were all there.
soon tha undertakers came and helped
dressed my granddad. he looked good. :))
moved his body to tha voiddeck.
he looked so peaceful when hes lying
in his coffin. all of us took our last glance of him
before tha undertakers started nailing him.
tha sound of tha nailing pierced our harts.
i cried buckets.
 
friday.
busy busy day.
lots of pple came and pay respect to him.
met up with lotsa cousins and relatives.
found out i got really cute nephews and nieces.
tink dey were all too young to realise wad is
happening. i tink its better for them.

saturday.
jst another day of all of
us mourning.
uncle hua cooked bah KUT teh for
all of us. its yummo.

sunday.
busiest day of us.
family gathering.
all of us were present for tha
formal ritual kinda ting.
some teared a lil.
mama cried buckets.
the kids were having fun.
burned some paper houses
cars and daily needs for him.
i wonder wher is he now?

monday.
the most feared day came.
he was to be creamated at mandai
all his children, grandchildren and even
great grandchildren send him off his last
last journey. its heart wrenching to send him
there. none of us wan it that way.
its horrible seeing him go into tha incinerator.
tha tot of tha blazing fire engulfing make
all of us cried lyk mad.
within 20 mins.
all he left us was his ashes and bones.
thats wad he left us after 87 yrs living.
tell me how brittle life can gets.
he fed us. he teaches us. he loved us.

dats how his funeral goes.
grandad ah. we misses you.
hope you're doing fine up there.
you wun be forgotten. :))

so here goes....

DAY 1
all of us met at golden mile complex
to take our bus into mersing to take
tha ferry. its 0630 in tha morning.
but all of us were reallly excited bout
tha trip. happy faces!!!
tha ferry trip suck lyk hell. tha sea was lyk rather
choppy and kevin nearly puked.. hehee.
after 7 hrs of traveling on the road and sea, we finally
reached our PAYA BEACH RESORT TIOMAN MSIA
had a hearty lunch of seafood.veggie and MEAT!!
lina and jamie went for SPA. tina jocelyn and i changed
and headed to tha beach immediately.
after wading in tha water for ard 20 mins., tha depth
of tha water jst reached my thighs only. arghhhh!!!
we girls got so irritated til we headed to tha swimming
pool instead. hahaa. we really love the pool yah.
tha water has no chlorine smell or taste at all.
cus its water fall water!!! so refreshing and cooling.
bathed and got ready for tha buffet dinner.
joyce and i came across a super tanned malay guy
and we started chatting, he told us he wil be in charge
of our snorkling trip tha next day. wahhaaa.
night life suck alot. but tha alcohol dere is really cheapcheap*
lina bought vodka absolute for only 47RM. CHEAPPPP
drank til midnightt den ZZZzzzzzz

DAY 2
joyce and i were awoken by tha sea waves hitting
the shore dat morning. its really loud i mean it.
our chalet was very near tha shore. urhs. take 10 steps
and we wil reach tha sparkling water. :))
had a quick breakfast cus we were nearly late
for our snorkling trip to renggis island.
all of us took a really pathetic boat dere.
daniel and tina vomited.
reached tha marine park duno wad and we
started snorkling. its my first time snorkling
so i was very fasinated by tha underwater world.
its reallly beautiiifulllll!!! imma attracted to it instantly.
salim held my hands, together with joyce, tha 3 of us
went on our fulfilling trip. salim evn dived dwn to pick up
a sea cucumber to let us feel it. hahaaa. uhhhh
salim even teach us diving aiite. way too cool.
but dere are some bitches frm another grp luffing at us.
watever. at least we tried to learn yah.

bad tings happened when we headed to our 2nd spot.
tha corals and reefs are so so beautifull!!
but tha currents got really strong and many pple
in tha grp cldnt take tha currents and waves.
those who kant take it were told to climb up
the boat. salim.simon.joyce and i were happily
snorkling til lina shouted at salim for help.
tina's whole body was cramming lyk mad.
she cldnt moved at all. lucky salim was really
skillful. one girl nearly fainted too.
twas real scary. for these tha trip had to
end earlier as many pple were unwell.

salim knew we were kinda disappointed
so he came to find us and told us dat he is
willing to bring us out to snorkel agn in tha
afternoon. hehee. see he is super nice right.
all of us had ramly burger for snack.
after lunch, simon and jaime went scuba
diving. woah.
tina and her boyfren,lina,joyce,mi together
with ryan our new fren, and salim, we went out
for another snorkling trip.
the 2 fat one, daniel and kevin was playing pool
back at the resort!
and i was stung by jellyfish. dammit. its painful lyk fuck.
we saw sea turtles and hundreds of fishes.
den at a point. salim told us he saw a shark.
joyce and i laughed cus we din see it.
den we continued snorkling for another 2 hrs.
we were really shagged when we reach tha shore.
but it was really fun and thrilling.
den salim said tha shake was bout 3 feet.
he din want to point out to us cus he was worried
we wil panick and stuff.
simon and jamie came back frm diving and dey too
saw a shark bout 3 feet.
at tis point all of us dat went snorkling believe
wad salim had said was true. scary*

had dinner. drinking session with salim and
tha werkers at tha resort. took photos. nice.
all of us sat dwn and listen to salim telling
us about his diving trips. he was born in tioman.
i bet his whole life, hes been diving and stuff.
dats smth you and me wil nv experience.
i kinda envy him but tinking bout wad we have
in spore, salim seemed to have missed out alot.
simple stuff lyk watching movie and using
tha internet is smth he had never experienced.
urhs, but he's seen killer whales 5 times and dolphines.
endless time. cool huh.

DAY 3.
woke up reluctantly. had breakfast
and its time to say goodbye to salim.
hes bringing another grp out to snorkle.
we exchanged contacts with him, hoping dat
we wil go back soon to visit and on our side,
hoping dat he wil visit us in spore so dat we
wil be able to share tha good tings with him.
we got kinda emotional but we stil have
to say bye bye!! bye salim*
before we left tioman, all of us went hiking.haaa
cus deres a rockfall at tioman, deres wher our
water supply in tioman came frm!!
we took tha 12noon ferry back to mersing.
and all of us left reluctantly. we missed tioman
we said dat we wil surely go back to dat beautiful
island. well i believed we really would cus all of us are
in love with tha island, tha pple, tha beach etc.

tha trip back sucked lyk hell agn. terrible.!!!!
anyhow, its really a nice trip.
definately a good EXPERIENCE.
believe me. i wil go back dere agn! wahahaa
salim jst called mi last night frm tioman.
sorry wendy, i cldnt bring back any sand for u.
cus its bloody illegal to do dat.
corals, reefs and even sand are protected dere.
wahha. e5 shall go together next time okay!
